Meet our special holiday release - Reindeer Poop! Two of our favourite coffees of the year - a washed Ethiopian coffee from our import partners at Osito, and a Naturally processed coffee from Uganda *cough Sipi Falls cough* via the good folk at Commonfolk who are doing the worlds best job at supporting producers through Zukkuka Bora.

Expect to taste: Christmas! lychee, honey, milk chocolate, jasmine, marmalade, mango pudding & cranberry

    TL;DR: We've paired two of our favourite coffees of the year to bring you this bouquet of tropical fruit in true festive Australian style! Forget fruit cake, spices and chocolate, it's way too hot for that! We've got you covered with all the chill tropical flavours that we should be enjoying at this time of year!

    Tis the season, and we (Dani) are releasing this coffee with the confidence of a middle-aged, middle-class white man who’s never been told no. Kinda like how Santa somehow has permission to break into everyone’s house and eat their cookies (rude).

     

    It’s called Reindeer Poop because we assume, somewhat like unicorns, these magical creatures could only expel the sweetest of things (and honestly we ran out of ideas that weren’t childish).

     

    We are roasting this for espresso and filter brewing so no one has to miss out. This special release is only around till January, so jump on it!

  • BREWING SUGGESTIONS

    We start with the same recipe for all of our espresso coffees:
     

    • 20g dose
    • 45g yield
    • 30 seconds

     

    From here we will tweak things to get the flavours to highlight things we like. Use this as your starting point and go wild!

     

    Note: some domestic espresso machines can’t use a 20g dose. Please always follow your manufacturers instructions to avoid damaging your equipment.
