If you are brewing espresso they can fit a portafilter to weigh your dose, or two cups side-by-side if you want to share coffee with someone.
For brewing filter, you can easily fit a decanter or a mug to brew into, and the non-slip mat gives you a little extra insurance against knocking your gear off the bench before your early morning brew.
A built in timer, and a weight resolution of 0.1g will keep you on recipe and your coffee tasting superb.
There won’t be any need to fuss over batteries as these scales are rechargeable, just keep a USB-C cable handy.
