CORE INFO
TLDR: it's coffee, but not coffee as you know it. This dried cherry tisane has been enjoyed for centuries in some countries as a drink in it's own right. It's now being shared across the world and is allowing another income stream for coffee producers, reducing farm waste, and sharing culture.
Finca Buenos Aires is something of a household name in specialty coffee, having won the prestigious Cup of Excellence competition in 2015, and placing many more times throughout the years.
Not only focused on coffee though, Olman and his family, dating back 3 generations, have been focused on community and cutting edge farming. They are involved in all aspects from sowing new plants, through to sales to coffee roasters.
The farm has come a long way since its inception, but its future lies in sustainability and welfare for all involved.
